My reading continues and the book is just getting better and better, i have recently read the story of the sailor. A guy in his 70's brought into Oliver Sack' work as he has chronic Alzheimers. When speaking to Dr. Sacks, he believes himself to be 19 and going into the Navy, he doesn't know that space travel has been invented, he thinks he is in the 1940's. the story is really sad as it goes on to him being given a mirror and becoming quite sad on the realisation that he is now an old man.
