About The Author

On our first lesson on our brief, About the Author. We were given a few tasks to do from Teresa. 

We were given a piece of A4 card and told to fold it in half and write the name of our chosen author onto the front.

We were then told to draw a few images and ,make some marks on the paper that have been influenced by what we know about the author and their work.

It was quite a fun task, especially getting to see what everyone else had chosen over the summer.

In the session we were told about visual journals and how we should start to consider what format we would like to do it in, whether it would be a sketchbook or loose piece of paper in a box or presentation folder,

i think i am going to choose a sketchbook, as it is easier to keep everything together. 

A playlist was also mentioned, to create a playlist that you would think the author would listen to, and see if this inspires your work, or not.
