Today we had a workshop in story boarding, we got shown all the different types of storyboarding and stages. Some looked very sketchy and some very detailed, with actions and angles provided.
After watching a presentation on different story boards, we were then given a task to choose a drawing we had brought in and create three different story boards for that one image, in a limited time.
At first i found it quite hard to come up with ideas and frames for the same picture but in the end i found the task really useful, as in the space of about 20 minutes i had 3 totally different ideas for an animation from just one drawing. I found that the task would be a great way to generate a substantial body of work.
