Digital Negatives For Screen Printing - Part 1

We have workshops in digital negatives for screen printing to show how you could do it without doing it by hand.

We were told all about RGB and YMCK colour and were shown how to separate an image and make different negatives that would help to screen print with different colours. We also learnt about shades and half tones.

here you can see how we selected certain parts of the image on photoshop

Here we were given an image of a leopard, in full colour and in Photoshop we looked at all the colour channels, it is split into Cyan, magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK) and each channel would be printed off and you can use it is a negative for screen print.
